With a controlling stake in the Austrian company Cashpoint, the Gauselmann Group successfully entered the international sports betting market over ten years ago. The portfolio comprises sophisticated integrated solutions – land-based and online – all tailor-made to comply with the country-specific laws and regulations in the respective target markets. Within the B2C segment, placing sports bets and accessing services couldn’t be easier, thanks to personalised customer cards.

The Gauselmann Group offers and brokers sports bets under the Cashpoint (Austria and Denmark) and XTiP (Germany) brands as well as serving other international markets.

XTiP has established a reputation Germany-wide as a sports betting specialist through operation and sales of the “Merkur Bet Book” betting terminal developed and manufactured within the Gauselmann Group.

Since the end of 2012, the company has held a sports betting and online casino licence valid only in Schleswig-Holstein that accords it the right to offer sports betting services in Germany’s northernmost federal state, both in betting shops and at betting terminals as well as via online offerings.
